Good news for creators
From now on, creators will be able to automatically block sharing videos that belong to them on Instagram, or just be notified when another Instagram account publishes a video that belongs to them. The Rights Manager effectively leaves the choice to the copyright holders, who can:
- Block stolen videos automatically
- Monitor stolen videos, then …
- Require a portion of revenues, or …
- Block manually stolen videos of their choice.
Hope this new feature will allow Instagram to to remain a creative space, relatively spared by the mass publication of stolen videos.
