Can not stand notification requests from sites you visit? Here’s how to block them on Google Chrome.
« Do you allow this site to send you notifications? » Since a few weeks, the question arises almost every time you visit a site . And you’re probably tired of relentlessly clicking “no” every time you visit a new site where you have not yet banned these notifications.
Fortunately, as our colleagues at Android Police point out this good tip, there is a simple way to block these annoying pop-ups on Google Chrome.
On Chrome for Android
To block this Android version of Chrome manipulation is hidden in many submenus. To completely disable website notifications, simply:
- Press the menu in Google Chrome (the three vertical dots)
- Choose the option “Parameters”
- In the “Advanced Settings” tab, choose “Site Settings”
- Choose «Notifications»
- Uncheck the first choice
On Chrome for Computer
The manipulation is fortunately simpler on a computer. You must first enter the address “chrome: // settings / content / notifications” in the URL bar.
The options related to notifications are then set by default to “Request permission before sending (recommended)”: simply disable this option to put it on “Blocked” and you’re done!
